OMG!
ahhh! seriously love her!! :DMy mom gave Maxx the red hat I used to wear when I was her age. She looks pretty cute in it, but you should have seen me :)
Love them! I want to be there to help you make them and any other lovely wedding project you may have! ;)Fabric Flowers (for the wedding!)
To make: cut strips of jersey material 1.5” x 20” (I also used lace), then fringe the edges about 1/4” apart. Match the ends of two fabric strips and roll together. Sew through the base to secure. Attach to a floral wire stem…and voilà!
This is one of the incredible things made by the Hitrecord.org crew in 10 days at Sundance Film Festival. It is a wonderfully mellifluous song written by Sean Lennon and Charlotte Muhl accompanied by an absolutely amazing short film which was co-directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Cat Solen. d@n and I both had the honor of getting to play small parts in it as planets. He as Neptune and I as Pluto…
This is my favorite piece that we screened at Sundance, and I was honored to design the opening and closing titles and the opening galaxy shot (with multi-lingual computer-ninja Mike Everett). Also, Maxx makes a sleepy appearance when we finally arrive at Earth!
“I hope to hell that when I do die somebody has the sense to just dump me in the river or something. Anything except sticking me in a goddam cemetary. People coming and putting a bunch of flowers on your stomach on Sunday, and all that crap. Who wants flowers when you’re dead? Nobody.”
